Data
Center
FieldSENTRY co-locates all data servers at a leading national
Internet data center and service provider with multiple locations throughout
the US. These state-of-the-art server facilities carry all FieldSENTRY Internet
traffic and feature multiple levels of redundancy within the design
architecture to ensure no single, or even multiple, points of failure will
interrupt the ability to receive information from the wireless service
providers and distribute alerts to FieldSENTRY customers. This is accomplished
with BGP Mesh; a multi-homed routing that connects Internet data streams
through multiple Tier-1 ISPs providing diverse paths to data endpoints. If one
or multiple ISP backbones go down, a local fiber loop is cut, or a hardware
component fails, FieldSENTRY service will not be interrupted nor will alert
distribution be delayed. With over 125 Gbps of bandwidth under management and
600,000 sq. ft. of world-class distributed datacenter space, FieldSENTRY will
provide growers quality and reliability unmatched in the center pivot
irrigation industry.
